Each year we carefully plan our Art Camp 101 workshops to encourage our young
campers to explore their creativity and find their artistic voice! The Art Academy's
mission is to offer experiences that build self-confidence and self-esteem while
broadening perceptions of themselves and the world, proving that kids can do anything.

groups will particpate in all workshops listed below!
JUNIOR BUILDERS
This fun workshop will combine science, architecture and basic woodworking with crafting! Each day we will BUILD something new, everything from legos to mini robots! Campers will learn how to build their projects following instructions one step at a time. They will also get to express their creativity through painting and decorating each project! We will even tackle group building challenges using silly materials and win prizes!

ANIMAL ADVENTURES
This workshop is a hands-on ANIMAL ADVENTURE! Each day, campers handle a new animals... including reptiles, furry critters, farm animals and parrots. Reptacular Animals has over 500 animals, many of whom have been adopted or rescued, and entertain at birthday parties every weekend. You will experience Art Camp's outdoor classroom and learn about about the featured animal through a variety of ways, including stories, games,or a related arts/craft project. There are always new animals each session so be sure to sign up for them all!

LET'S MOVE
Let's rock! Art Camp 101 campers will learn some basic gymnastics techniques in this fun & high-energy workshop. Warm-ups, stretching, and across the floor exercises will be introduced. We will encorporate all kinds of creative movement (dance, gymnastics, yoga, drama, games) and have fun!

DISNEY MANIA
Campers will create all kinds of Disney inspired projects! We will read a story, or watch movie clips to inspire our imaginations! Campers will make items like Frozen Slime, Lion King Masks or Mickey Mouse ears! Art Camp really is "the happiest place on earth"!

GLOW ZONE
Get ready for Neon & Glow in the Dark FUN! Campers will make awesome arts & crafts projects using a variety of mediums & materials. And, the best part is... EVERY project will feature NEON or GLOW IN THE DARK colors, paints or accessories!

UNDER THE SEA
Visit the coral reef of your imagination and be inspired by jellyfish, seahorses, starfish and ocean life both big and small! Campers will have fun creating beautiful arts and crafts projects in this hands-on workshop!

THE ART CAMP KITCHEN
Art Camp's youngest campers will learn the techniques to be a great gourmet Chef in the Art Camp Kitchen! We will explore all kinds of Italian, Mexican and American foods.We will use real kitchen tools to cook both sweet and savory foods!
*Parents, please note- the kids are given the choice to eat the foods they create during class!
