Each year we carefully plan our Art Camp 101 workshops to encourage our young
campers to explore their creativity and find their artistic voice! The Art Academy's
mission is to offer experiences that build self-confidence and self-esteem while
broadening perceptions of themselves and the world, proving that kids can do anything.

WATERCOLORS
This fine art workshop will focus on the exciting world of WATERCOLORS! Campers will learn how to use a palette, mix beautiful colors, how to use their brushes to create different textures. We will also learn about composition, light & dark, form and negative space. We will use watercolor paint cakes, liquid watercolors and watercolor pens!

ANIMAL ADVENTURES
This workshop is a hands-on ANIMAL ADVENTURE! Each day, campers handle
a new animals... including reptiles, furry critters, farm animals and parrots. Reptacular Animals has over 500 animals, many of whom have been adopted or rescued, and entertain at birthday parties every weekend. You will experience Art Camp's outdoor classroom and learn about about the featured animal through a variety of ways, including stories, games or a related arts/craft project. There are always new animals each session so be sure to sign up for them all!

SUPER DUPER SCIENCE!
In this hands on "SUPER DUPER SCIENCE" workshop, there will be new, cool hands-on experiments each day! This class is filled with popular science activities like ice cream in a bag, neon slime and more! You will try out a ton of awesome experiments and bring home projects and materials to continue your creative explorations at home!

MOVE IT
Let's rock! Art Camp 101 campers will learn some basic gymnastics techniques in this fun & high-energy workshop. Warm-ups, stretching, and across the floor exercises will be introduced. We will encorporate all kinds of creative movement (dance, gymnastics, yoga, drama, games) and have fun!

IMAGINATION STATION
Get ready to open up your imaginations and CREATE! In this workshop, we willl make arts & crafts projects based on storybooks! We will combine vibrant colors, materials and techniques to create incredible one of a kind pieces! Our projects will be inspired by the nature, science, books and make believe! The sky is the limit in Amy's imagination station!

SCULPTURE STUDIO
Did you know that you could sculpt with all kids of materials, not just clay?!! In Cole's Sculpture Studio, campers will use the principles of sculpture and relief. They will also explore molding and sculpting with various media, such as aluminum, wood, paper, sculpy, model magic and wire. Campers will learn how to make figurines, animals, bowls and all kinds of miniatures!

WE LOVE COOKING!
The title say's it all.... WE LOVE COOKING! Join Chef Tara and learn how to make all kinds of delicious foods! We will make both sweet AND savory foods from around the globe. Recipes will include: Snacks, Desserts, Smoothies and more!
*Parents, please note- the kids are given the choice to eat the foods they create during class!
