9:30 - 10:20 FIRST WORKSHOP:
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
In this advanced cooking workshop, we will literally change the way you think about food! We will discover simple ingredient swaps and utalize expert techinques to will help you stay healthy! For example, we will test out baking with chickpea flour rather than eggs! Or, create cauliflower "mashed potatoes"! Teens are sure to love creating delicious foods with these secret healthy ingredient swaps!

10:55 - 11:45 SECOND WORKSHOP:
MIXED MEDIA SCULPTURE
In this new, fun, and exciting workshop, teen campers will combine a variety of mediums like ceramics, woodworking, drawing, beading, and much more to create sculptural projects that are unique and full of texture. Campers will be able to say that each amazing art piece was made entirely by them. Each project will have a loose structure and set of guidelines but camper will use their creativity to design a project that they can say is truly their own.
12:45 - 1:35 THIRD WORKSHOP:
It's paint mania in Laurel's art studio with this new super cool class devoted to all things PAINT! Acrylics, watercolors, spray paint, paint pens, tempera, fabric paint ... and more! We'll mix media to increase the painting fun, with pastels, sharpies, printmaking, collage, metalwork, and even more!
2:10 - 3:00 FOURTH WORKSHOP
In collaboration with Side Street Projects, this workshop teaches students the safe and effective use of hand tools through hands-on experience. These workshops are held in brightly-colored "mobile" studios that house 15 woodworking stations custom made for teens. Each station is equipped with hand-tools, adjustable workbenches, supplies and materials: everything needed to create dozens of woodworking projects that increase in complexity as students develop their creative problem solving skills.
*Teens will not be allowed on bus without closed-toed shoes.
