David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA in 1975. His vision of starting a series of comprehensive summer art programs for young children began 15 years ago when he saw a need for an alternative to traditional summer day camp programs. He brings his creativity, enthusiasm and love of children to each program he created.

Owner & Director

Ashley earned her Bachelor of the Arts degree, majoring in both Communications and Theatre Arts, from The University of Arizona in 2003. She then earned her Masters of the Arts and Cross Cultural Communications degree from National University in 2007. She also obtained her Multiple Subjects teaching credential in 2007. Ashley has worked with children for the past twenty years through camps, volunteer programs, coaching, tutoring, and teaching! She has a background in Education, a love for the Arts, and a talent for working with children! Her goal is to positively influence children who attend The Art Camp with her originality, sparkle, and creativity! This will be Ashley’s 10th summer as Camp Director & her 2nd summer as Camp Owner!

Morgan Kaczor
Art Camp 101 Director

Morgan graduated in 2009 from California State University Long Beach with a B.A. in Child Development & Family Studies and a Minor in Dance. Throughout her college career, she worked as preschool teacher in the Child and Family Center. Morgan also spent 8 summers working at Sierra Canyon Day Camp, working her way up from a C.I.T to the Director of Themes & Entertainment. After graduating college, she worked as the Assistant Director at My Gym Children’s Fitness Center. She received recognition as the American Red Cross Hero of the Year in 2009 for saving a life using her CPR and 1st Aid training. Morgan has spent the 2012-2013 school year in Israel as a volunteer through the Israel Teaching Fellowship, teaching English to students in 1st- 6th grade. Morgan is so excited to return to the Art Camp for her sixth year as the Art Camp 101 Director. Morgan is committed to creating a positive and unique camp environment for our youngest campers!

Tayler McManus
Assistant Director & Office Manager

Tayler McManus is a current student at Chapman University, where she will graduate in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Tayler is currently earning a major in Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration. Tayler has many years of experience working with children and teens, through babysitting, tutoring and childcare! Tayler's artistic abilities began at the age of 5 with dance, drawing and painting. As an original member of the Art Camp's Pop Fridayz Dance Crew, she can't wait to perform for the kids every week!!! This will be Tayler's 10th year at The Art Camp, she has transitioned from JCIT to CIT to Counselor to Substitute Teacher, and now to Assistant Director & Office Manager! Tayler is very excited to work alongside the amazing Art Camp Director Team. She promises to make sure our campers have the absolute best summer yet!!

Jenn Solomon
CIT/JCIT Director

Jenn Solomon is about to complete her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Chapman University and is excited to begin her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in September. In 2015, she also obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands in Communication Disorders. Jenn has worked with kids and teens ages 2-18 in both summer camp and academic settings. This will be Jenn's 6th summer at Art Camp. She has worked as a Camp Counselor with every age level: Art Camp 101, Upper Camp and Teen Camp. She is so excited to transition into her new position as Art Camp's JCIT & CIT Director for this summer! Jenn is committed to creating a positive, fun learning environment for all JCITs and CITs!
